I lost my mum to cancer in August 2004 after a very short illness. My family were lucky in that we were able to care for mum at home but this was only with the excellent and invaluable support from the Ellenor Foundation. This charity provides hospice care in the home for children and adults living with cancer and other life threatening illnesses.

On 1st November, I am running the ING New York Marathon for the Ellenor Foundation. I am asking for your support in raising funds for this charity. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Ellenor Foundation Ltd will receive your money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no extra cost.
