My story

Dear friends,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and please spare a few moments to read this.

On September 10th 2010, I will start the first of my 105 Marathons in Brighton.  I am aiming to set a World Record (unofficial) for the most consecutive marathons run. The current Guiness World Record is 52 Marathons in 52 Days. This challenge will enable me to run around the coastline of Britain and take in its charm and beauty.

Please tell your friends and family to come and run with me whether that be a 5km, 10km, Half or Full Marathon. By pushing myself physically to achieve my aim I hope to make a difference by raising money for a cause very close to my heart.

On a personal note, I have lost two Grandparants to Cancer. It was at an early age in both cases but it has deprived me the chance of getting to know them in adult life. I am sure that each of us knows of someone whether that be family or friend who has suffered from Cancer, but all we can do is to fight it head on and that means doing what we can to raise money so that one day a cure will be found. I believe in this.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
