On 17th January 2010, a dear friend of mine lost her long & courageous battle with cancer. Being only 3 years older than me has really brought it home to me how awful this disease is & we need to all we can to help.
So on 8th May I will be jumping out of a plane at over 10,000 ft & will reach at least 120 mph to raise as much as I can to help Willen Hospice who made her last few days as comfortable as they could be.
Anne was an amazing woman. She was a true friend, always giving her time, knowledge & humour to anyone who needed it. I had personal experience of this a couple of years ago when I was going through a very difficult time. Anne was always checking I was ok & would meet me to give me her 'advice'. She was a no nonsense woman & told me I was being an idiot if she thought I was, but I never took offence as she always had my best interests at heart.
I will miss knowing that she is not at the end of the phone to tell me how it is.
She was a true legend...RIP Anne x

After speaking with Willen, they have given me a great idea to assist companies with corporate sponsorship. The idea is for me to wear a large t-shirt with space to put company logos on the front.
