In late January this year Hollie Sturgeon (a good friend of Jonathon's) was involved in a car crash on the A17 near Sleaford. She was rushed to Lincoln hospital before being transported to the Royal Hallamshire hospital in Sheffield to undergo neurosurgery - surgery on the brain. Surgery went well but despite everyone's best efforts, Hollie died on 1st February at the age of 18.
On September 22nd, we (Gary Senior and Jonathon Senior) are taking part in a London to Paris bike ride to raise money for the charity Neurocare. The ride is 300 miles and will take 4 days, so on average we will be biking 75 miles per day.
For any proper cyclist, this may not seem an impossible task. But for 2 people who, before deciding to do this ride, had never ridden more than 25 miles in a day, it's quite a big task!
We are currently in training for the cycle ride and would greatly appreciate any donations, however large or small, to help us reach our target of £500 for Neurocare, in memory of a great friend, Hollie Sturgeon.
Thank you
Gary & Jonathon Senior
