Final chance to sponsor Niamhy, please dig deep. It really is such an amazing cause! Thank you all SO much!
THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO VISIT NIAMH'S JUST GIVING PAGE!
Niamh will be doing a sponsored walk on Saturday the 7th of May in aid of the children's charity Brainwave (which, when you consider that she only learnt to walk in her walker late last year, is some feat!)
The Brainwave Centre provides therapy for babies and children who have been given a diagnosis of Autism or Developmental Delay and for children who have a brain injury like Cerebral Palsy or a chromosomal injury such as Down's Syndrome. Their help has been immeasurable in terms of Niamh's progress; we owe them so much.
Brainwave relies entirely on donations from people like YOU. It costs £3500 to look after each child and although a lot of familes do contribute a small amount to help Brainwave with its costs (with the charity subsidising each child's Programme by over 80%), many families can not afford to do this and are helped by Brainwave's bursary fund. They never turn away a family if they think they can help them.
So, if you would like to support BRAINWAVE'S sterling work by contributing to Niamh's Walk, you really will be making a huge difference to lives of some our most vulnerable children.
I am also proud to say that I have the privilege of working as an Ambassador for the charity so if you know of a child or family that could benefit from Brainwave's help, then please don't hesitate to contact me.
Anyway, she'll be doing laps around the lake in Abington Park, so if you'd consider sponsoring her, that would be amazing!
(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.)
So please dig deep and donate now.
