For my 7th Birthday party, I would like to give a donation to Thomas's School Foundation.  I am in year 2 at Thomas's Kensington and love my school. 

Last year was the 10th anniversary of Thomas's School Foundation, where I learned more about what they do.  The foundation funds programmes in our local community for children less fortunate than us.  The main area of focus is academia (reading programmes and storytelling), sports (after school clubs), music (instrument donations) and drama (costume making).  In addition, there is a bursary programme to help some of these children attend one of the Thomas's schools in year 7 and 8.

We live in Kensington, where Thomas's School Foundation is actively involved with a number of the North Kensington schools (St Thomas's, St Mary's RC), Community Centres in the public Housing areas (ClementJames, IntoUniversity) and other local charities (Westway Development Trust).  The aim is to further the experiences, possibilities and opportunities for these children - many of the things that we take for granted.
