Welcome to your new improved fundraising page. Find out what's changed and why.

What's new?

  1. The new header makes it much easier to see all the fundraising info at a glance. Plus, the page can now be shared to more social networks to encourage more people to give.
  2. The charity information is much more prominent, highlighting the cause you’re supporting.
  3. The new gallery makes it easier to see the images and video.
  4. Dedicated sections show the teams and companies you’re part of, emphasising the fundraising community you belong to.

What's coming?

The new design will also allow us to introduce some great features very soon to help you tell your fundraising story, like page updates, themes and a new page summary. Read all about these and other upcoming changes on our blog.

My story

The Wiltshire Air Ambulance flies 365 days a year, 19 hours a day.  They can be at an accident scene anywhere in Wiltshire within 11 minutes meaning that patients can be given life saving treatment within the critical first hour.

Last year two of my flying friends were rescued by helicopter following unfortunate accidents.  One in Wiltshire by the WAA team and the other from high up a mountain in the Southern Alps by a French helicopter team.

This year I am running the London Marathon on behalf of the WAA.  I am delighted that it coincides with the Olympic year and I hope that you will be as motivated to donate to the WAA as I am to train and run for them.

At All Hallows School, where I teach, we will be organising our own special fundraising event.  The children will have an oportunity to run circuits of our grounds not only to raise money but also for the joy of running.

You can read more about the WAA at: #mce_temp_url#

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The Air Ambulance is a unique charity whose sole aim is to save the lives of people living in Wiltshire. Each year we need to find in excess of £700,000 in order to keep the helicopter flying. In the history of the WAA we have attended over ten thousand incidents saving countless lives.
