It has been my plan to work towards an Ironman for a little while. However, I was totally inspired recently by Mel who unfortunately found out that her son, born on 30 April 2013, Lewis, was deaf. What amazed me about this was how chilled out and positive she was about this.

There was no hint of moaning or complaining, just action. Mel told me about The Elizabeth Foundation, http://www.elizabeth-foundation.org/, and the incredible work they do with deaf children. Here is an independent charity who has dedicated themselves to ensuring that all the children their care for have the best future possible.

As a father I know how expensive nurseries are, so what I find inspirational is that they do this with no thought of profit or selfish gains, but as a charity, and they need your support!

50 % of all money raised will go to The Elizabeth Foundation, and as a Rotary Fundraiser, the remaining 50% will be split between the Rotary Club Charities. 1. Children's Hospices 2. Life Education Services  3. Cancer Charities  4. Air Ambulance  5. Help for Heroes.
