Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I have now reached my target of £2,000 but feel free to add a donation if you've got this far!
News update - I ran the course without stopping and got home in 23:10, ahead of my estimate. I was pretty pleased to reach the finish - see this shot of me at the end!

My story continues below:
Once upon a time I was a useful road runner, running around 35 mins for a 10k. When I was 20 a leg injury put an end to my participation in impact sports. But now, aged 42, I am coming out of retirement, possibly once only, to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. I am likely to get round and then feel a lot of pain. But I have also worked out that there should be lots of medics around to patch me back together!
I want you think of a donation and then double it, as this will be a special effort for a really deserving cause. I have now increased my fundraising target to £2,000 and would love to get there if I (we!) can.
Your donation could be the equivalent of:
£20 - a round of 6 drinks in the pub
£50 - a night out
£100 - a really good night out
£250 - a weekend away
What could you afford to give just this once? You could do it for the good of EAAA, or just to make me suffer!
The East Anglian Air Ambulance helps save lives across East Anglia and is funded solely by donations and receives no funding from the government or the National Lottery.
Just click on the website and have a credit or debit card at the ready.
Thanks in anticipation, Nick.
