My story
Your donations will really support me in training for and finishing the 26.2 miles.
Traumatic Brain Injury predominantly affects the young and healthy following road traffic incidents. In the UK the immediate, life saving care is excellent but the long term rehabilitation is comparatively grossly lacking.
Good, early rehab helps victims to achieve the best potential their injuries allow, integrating them into society and maximising the enjoyment they get from life.
Headway focus on providing support early and throughout a patient’s rehabilitation.Services they provide include: visits to neuro gyms, adult basic education, interpersonal skills groups, IT tuition and social events.
In summary – Headway help young people whose lives are catastrophically turned upside-down get the best out of life.
