Firstly, thanks very much for taking a look at our page.

We are both taking part in a Triathlon in September. Neither of us have ever done anything like this before so it is a going to be a tough challenge for us both. The furthest we have ever raced before is a 5km charity fun run, so the Sprint triathlon(Nick), and Super Sprint triathlon (Cat) will be hard work! The Sprint Tri is a 700m swim, a 20km bike, and a 5km run which Nick hopes to finish in 2hours. The Super Sprint is a 400m swim, a 10km bike, and a 2.5km run which Cat hopes to finish in 75mins.

The training so far has been hard, but enjoyable and with plenty of set backs! Nick tore his knee cartilage playing hockey so hasn't done any running yet! And Cat got a chest infection in June so had to rest for once! We are both well on our way now though and greatly appreciate any amount you can afford to donate.

Help for Heroes is important to us both because we feel the work they do is invaluable and that they have done a lot to raise the profile of the selfless work our brave soldiers do.
