Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 17 September 2011 I'm getting on my bike and cycling 280 miles, in four days across six nations (England, France, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg and Germany) and hoping to raise £1,000 for Street Acion's parters in Burundi, Kenya and South Africa.
So, why am I doing this? I am looking forward to the challenge of a long distance cycle ride, I'm deeply committed to the work of Street Action (www.streetaction.org) and, ultimately, I want to raise some money to support some of the street children that Street Action's partners are working with.
Who is Street Action? They are a great UK street children charity supporting local partners working with street children in Burundi, Kenya and South Africa - providing sustainble financial support and promoting the work they do through research and advocacy.
So what can you do? Please don't feel any pressure to donate anything, but if you can spare a few pounds then I would love you to sponsor me however much you feel you can afford. As little as £10 can go a long way to support a street child through one of Street Action's partners.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you for any support you can give.
Nick
