My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm doing a tandem skydive on 22nd April which I have paid for myself and no money raised via this Just Giving page will go towards the cost of my jump.
I have a foster greyhound called Jojo who I got through Greyhound Gap. They rescue hounds which are at great risk either from being put down in council pounds or are suffering cruelty and / or neglect in their current situation. They desperately need every penny possible. Every donation on this page is worthwhile, no matter how small.
Greyhounds are very special dogs, they often have a hard start in life and are without love or proper care much of the time. The lucky ones find their way into rescues after they finish racing or if they never make the grade, but many more simply vanish. Greyhound Gap provides a safe place for as many of these dogs as they can and then try to find them permanent homes or temporary foster homes where they will get the love and care they deserve. I want to help them by raising what I can towards their ongoing costs.
This jump will also be in memory of my previous greyhounds Meg and Madge who we miss very much.
