I'm running the NY Marathon this Fall for the Lyla Nsouli Foundation, because I believe this challenge is a great way to honour the memory of Lyla Nsouli, and by fundraising, an even better way to help those facing the same challenge Lyla did.

About the charity

On August 13 2011, two year old Lyla Nsouli was diagnosed with a terrible form of brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). She passed away only 5 months later. Lyla's family set up this foundation in her honour to fund research into treatment and, eventually, a cure for DIPG.
