My story

Hi, this is my official on-line donation page for those of you wishing to support my epic ride which starts at John O’Groats on the 12 June and finishes in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. I will be joined and supported on this challenge by Eric & Greg Craig.

Myself, Eric & Greg will be undertaking 11 days of solid cycling and upwards of 1200 or maybe 1300 miles depending on roadworks and getting lost – it could be more but I certainly hope not!  This is a challenge for anyone but having broken more bones than I care to remember during my racing career you can imagine the challenge I am intending to surmount in aid of UK Youth.

I am the proud President of the national charity, UK Youth and my ride is to bring awareness of this fantastic charity.  Today UK Youth’s work makes a lasting impact by encouraging young people to take responsibility and become involved citizens. It gives a voice to people who are too rarely heard and builds skills that will remain useful throughout their lives.

I have set up this page as many of you are asking how you can donate to support the work of UK Youth – thank you so much for your donation.

There will be up dates here – and on my Twitter page @Mansell_Nigel  – as the details of the route are planned and pit stops finalised.

My updates 3

Thanks to Donald & Mary Linsley for their cheque received today. All these donations no matter how big or small are making the cycling miles fly!
