Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!
On April 25th 2010, I will be running the London Marathon for UCL Cancer Research Institute in London. The institute's aim is to develop a generation of new, more effective, targeted and individualised treatments for cancer and to improve the quality of life and survival of those with cancer. They are currently focussing on childhood cancer; haematological malignancies (including leukaemia & lymphoma; brain cancer, head and neck cancer.
The 26.3 mile (or 42.2km) distance is going to be a MASSIVE challenge but I'm confident I can go the distance & your donations will be a massive motivator to keep pushing myself in training over the cold winter months.
I appreciate that times are tough but anything that you can donate will be greatly appreciated by the institute and will help them to keep saving lives, so please dig deep!
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
