After having run the Brighton Marathon in April for Doctors for Nepal, I am now tackling the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October. After a three months hiatus from running due to an injury, I am now back to training hard and am hoping to smash the half marathon distance...
I am very grateful for any donation you are able to make to Doctors for Nepal.
Doctors for Nepal is a small charity which sponsors poor students from rural Nepal to attend medical school (in Nepal). In return, the students pledge to return to their communities to practice medicine for a certain amount of time (4-5 years). The overall goal is to improve healthcare in rural Nepal and apart from providing scholarships, the charity will also be implementing health care projects and provide continuing education for health care staff such as midwives and nurses.
