My story
Yes we're at it again! Gallivanting across Europe on a big ol' jolly all in the name of charity. So please do dig deep and donate to what is a fantastic cause.
We are going to be driving a £350 Nissan 100NX, called Lucy that is old enough to drink, from Sheffield to the start line in Bruges. Then on to the finish line in Split Croatia via a vast swathe of Europe...assuming we make it all the way of course.
Few points to note;
- It's all paid for out of our pockets, 100% you donations go straight to the charity
- The team consists of Tom and Dave (the better half of last years Sucata Split team, The Saharan Kayaking Club) along with a new recruit, Sunny
- The route is over 1,500 miles each way via Bruges, Strasbourg, Munich, Ljubljana and finally Split
- We have every chance of breaking down in the middle of nowhere and not making it
- If the car is in a good enough shape we will be trying to drive it back
- We're staying in hostels (we're poor) so this is not a holiday in 5 star resorts
- It's a great cause, we wouldn't be raising for it otherwise, so even if you donated last time please do donate again!
