I am about to (try) to run the last of 4 marathons for the Samaritans this coming Saturday. The three that I have already completed are: The Gower, Portland and Cornwall. Next is Exmoor, with 1000ft of height gain in the first four miles, plus predicted 25°C + temperatures on the day. Sounds fun...
The reason that I have chosen to do this challenge for the Samaritans is that they offer a unique service that benefits people that need to talk through problems; people who often have nobody to turn to. Plus they are an underfunded chairty. Spiel over...
... aside of the pain of running the events, I have also been to chundersville after mild hypothermia, had shin splints and patella tendonitis. So, if you could sponsor me (even if it is just a little) for these efforts then it would be much appreciated (I probably should have run for a knee replacement charity).
Thanks
Olly
