My story

Chillisauce wants to know what high speed chair racing looks, feels and tastes like. With the world’s media watching we just have to be there, so we’re sending Rob, the intern, to pit his wits against the best office chair racers in the world. However, such a triumphant event deserves more than simply taking part…and the great thing about interns is that they’ll do anything.

We have tasked Rob with the mission of taking his own office chair from here in London all the way down to the World Championships in Laichingen, nearly 1000km away. And there’s more: he cannot spend any money on his passage, relying solely on social media and his, as yet, undetermined wit. And there’s more still: we’re giving him 3 days to reach Laichingen and it’s his job to raise as much money as he can for Help4Heroes.

If you’d like to take part in the Official Run then come to the send off on Carnaby Street at 8:00am on Thursday 3 May. We’ll even dream up a prize for the first person to make it.

We’ll be posting updates on Rob’s preparation and progress and profiling any other racers up for the challenge on the Blog and our Facebook page. If you’d like to get involved in any way then either post below, contact me on twitter @flossysimpson or send me an email: flossy@chillisauce.co.uk

If you’d like to contact Rob personally to give him some advice either legal or practical than you can follow him here @Dawsongoodey88

Many thanks for everyone's support.
