Story

Thank you for coming to my page and I hope this is something that stands out to you.

Myself along with a large group of my colleagues will be walking this trek as a way to raise money for our fantastic charities. I chose Dorset Children's Foundation as previously I have supported and worked a lot with Dorset Mind (our other nominated charity) and wanted to help out DCF, as they are a small charity, working effortlessly to make children's lives better.

I have in the last year have suffered cartilage tear in my right knee and a grade 2 tear on one of my ligaments in my right ankle, so want to do something that can push me, with out me (hopefully) doing any more damage.

This will be no walk in a park (sorry about the pun) and will be challenging for both myself and my colleagues. I would appreciate any donation that people would be willing to offer.

A bit about the team:

We've joined together and created this walk to raise money for our two chosen charities - Dorset Mind and Dorset Children's Foundation.

Each team member will be given the chance to raise money for whichever charity they would like, but in addition, we are very fortunate for our company to be able to donate an equal sum to each charity.

At Health-on-Line, we are very centred around our own well being but that of others as well. As one of the larger employers in Bournemouth, we feel we have a responsibility to help out our local community whilst at the same time, loving the fact that we can help others.

We will be aiming to start the walk at 12.00am, starting at Studland Ferry and finally finishing at Durdle Door. With people of different abilities, have set a target time of 15 hour - but we hope to beat that!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
