Thank you so much for visiting my page.
I am raising money for a good friend of mine, Alexander Mawell. The reasons for this is that his mother died of cervical cancer when he was 9. After her death her husband, James then set up 'Jo's Trust' in order to inform and help women who are affected by the disease, as he felt that they were deprived of availiable information. James then tragically died of a brain tumour a few years later.
So the 13th March has been and gone and my friends (Caroline Leeper and Georgina Thomas) and I were all able to suspend our rational thinking for the day and go sky diving. Pretty super terrifying but I would not have change it for the world. Especially as we are now, collectively, approaching the £5000 mark which is beyond anything that we could have imagined, so thank you so so much for all the support we have recieved. But, we would really really love to meet that £5000 mark so any other support would be hugely appreciated.
If you are curious to know what the money will be spent on it goes towards the very essential support that anyone effected by cervical cancer needs; be it patient, friends or family. It also helps awareness of the disease as so many women do not know about it and suffer the same fate as Jo. For more information, please visit the jo's trust website.
