Myself, and a few friends (collectively known as "The Olympians" haha) are running the Audi Wimbledon 10k on March 14th 2010 to raise money for the A21 Campaign.

A21 works in Greece and Eastern Europe to put a stop to the injustice that is sex trafficking. Girls travel to Greece and other western countries with the promise of jobs and better lives, upon arrival they are forced to surrender their travel documents and money, are locked away and made to service up to 40 men per day, suffering horrific sexual, emotional and physical abuse.

A21 rescues these girls from their captors and works to rehabilitate them, providing counselling, medical help and retraining. They are also looking to work in Eastern Europe, educating young girls so that this type of crime can be prevented.

This fundraiser is a part of the A21 Apprentice Challenge, working to weekly targets - our target was £70 by January 31. We successfully raised this amount, but we're hoping to raise much more over the coming month for A21 cause!
