Story
Did you know that there are approximately 775 miles between Aberdeen and Plymouth?
Well for Simon Mizen and Nick Bladon this is a fact which will forever be imprinted on their minds (and possible their behinds!) as from Friday 12th June they will be attempting to cycle between Aberdeen and Plymouth, a feat that should take them 10 days to complete! Why, you may ask yourself (and they frequently have!!)? The simple answer is that they will be raising money for 2 fantastic causes; Cancer Research UK and Make a Wish Foundation.
Simon and Nick will be winging there way (slowly!) South from Aberdeen stopping at various points on route. Preliminary stop-off's hope to include Edinburgh, Lancaster, Manchester, Birmingham and Oxford with the guys needing to average around 80 miles per day to complete their journey in Plymouth on Sunday 21st June! With training started (and certainly required!!) Simon and Nick are hoping to receive great backing and support from work colleagues, friends and family and raise as much money as possible for these 2 great charities as they prepare to get... 'On Their Bikes!!'.
