My story

Thank you for supporting the second P3 Big Sleep Out!

As I'm sure you are aware many people within our communities in Wolverhampton continue to experience hard economic times. Consequently we are seeing more people losing their jobs and homes and an ever increasing demand for the services provided by P3.

Our vision is to support people to gain the practical skills and confidence to sustain an independent lifestyle by providing them with the right opportunities and services to enable them to move on from these difficult times in their lives.

This is our second P3 Big Sleep Out, and we will not only continue to raise awareness of homelessness and the effects this can have on lives, but will raise valuable funds to support our work. P3 will use the money raised from this initiative to continue to operate the furniture recycling service in Wolverhampton. The service collects unwanted donated items and renews, repairs and recycles these to people moving into their new property. This exciting service opened on April 3rd 2012 using the money raised from our first ever big sleep out last October.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for your support for the Big Sleep Out Initiative, together we will make a difference.
