My story
Participants: Laura Crawford, Mathew Lewis, Prew Lumley, Richard Glover, Richard Hunt, Nick Armitage, Lindsay Texel, Jonathan Jones, Andrew Stones, John Alderton, Tim Jarvis, Andrew Sprake, Mathew Dalzell
With temperatures often cold and icy in February, thirteen partners in the Squire Sanders Leeds Office have agreed to spend a night sleeping on the streets of Leeds in support of St George’s Crypt, one of the country’s best-known centres for homeless.
Partners on the Pavement is our first major fundraising event for this year’s Leeds Office designated charity and we thought this would be a graphic way of demonstrating our support for St George’s Crypt.
Partners will sleep rough overnight on the streets of Leeds, whatever the weather, as part of a fundraising campaign to raise money for and awareness of the issue of homelessness in Leeds. The crypt first opened its doors in 1930 and has since continued to offer hospitality, shelter and practical friendship to thousands of homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the city of Leeds.
I would appreciate it if you could support me and colleagues in this worthwhile cause.
