My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit 'our' JustGiving page, I am the husband of wild, fiesty and very passionate, Passionate Pink! Trustee Kate Parry-Shill - Today, or rather yesterday, my lovely wife has made my run into a bit of a team effort ;-) ....

So as of right now, our good mates James Dernie and Cat Allaway-James will also be running with me in aid of the most recent Passionate Pink Cause 'The Pathway Workshop (I guess this means we may possibly be sporting something pink!)

Watch this space for further details about James and Cat in the next few days, in the meantime a bit about Passionate Pink! and Pathways ....

Passionate Pink!, a voluntary charitable organisation registered with National Council for Voluntary Organisations, supporting registered charities in the UK along with a number of other causes in and projects globally.

Passionate Pink! help a number of individual causes's close to the heart of the founder, trustees and supporters.

Passionate Pink hope we can help ALL causes we support realise their dreams, and support their goals in any way they can.

In the past Kate has had me jump out of planes in aid of causes supported by Passionate Pink! I have eaten cake, I have dressed up as a pink fairy and I have attended many other events, all in the name of charity.

Now on April 1st I am doing the 30th WHITE HORSE HALF MARATHON Running through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside

Running through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside in aid of a Passionate Pink! charity close to the heart of my wife and I. Kate's grandfather Eric founded the charity.

Pathway Workshop is a registered charity for productive employment and training for disadvantaged adults between 16 and 80, with both physical disabilities and those with learning impairment. Pathway Workshop seeks to improve the job prospects of people with disabilities, and those who may be disadvantaged in today's labour market. The Workshop provides practical experience and the opportunity to learn new skills in woodworking and machining. Individuals are able to progress at their own pace, thus achieving their maximum potential.

Funding, Donations and Sponsorship
To run an operation of this type, of course, costs money. Every penny made through the sales of our products feeds directly back into the salaries and benefits of those with disabilities. Pathway Workshop is a non-profit making operation that aims to achieve a balance between the demands needed to run a commercial operation and our charity’s ethical ethos. The more products we sell, the more disadvantaged people we can help. It’s as simple as that!

JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
