It helps villagers to survive and break out of the cycle of poverty, deprivation & disease and is saving lives. All live below the international poverty line. Many die as a result of AIDS, TB, Malaria, Cholera and dirty water.

Story

We taught at Samfya Secondary School from Jan 1971 to April 1974 and our daughter was born at Lubwe hospital in 1973. The hospital is about 20 miles from the school along quite a bumpy road. The hospital was basic but welcoming and we came home with our new baby the same day! Today, the hospital is still very short of medicines and equipment so we would like to raise some money to provide at least a little support. The charity is very well managed and every penny is used in Lubwe to support the hospital and provide clean water for local people.
