Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm going to be tackling a cycle ride from Land's End to John O'Groats this August in order to raise funds and awareness for children with autism.
I'll be following a rural route of about 1000 miles, aiming to complete the distance in eight days, camping along the way and carrying all my own equipment.
I shall be using a route advised by the Cyclist Tourist's Club which takes a scenic approach, avoiding major roads. This obviously is not the most direct or flattest of options but shall not deter me. I've been cycling competitively for 20 years and have wanted to tackle this challenge for some time now. The added incentive of raising money for Peach and Westwood School has ensured that I shall put my plans into action.
People have asked if I have any apprehensions about the ride, well I'm hoping for good weather, no punctures and a strong tailwind at the very least!
