Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for all of your previous donations.

Having completed triathlons and marathons recently to raise money for St Clare's Hospice, I felt that a new harder challenge was needed for 2011 to get you to dig deep and donate your hard earned money once again.

So what could be more difficult....how about: 2.4 mile swim followed by 112 mile bike ride followed by 26.2 mile run in ONE DAY!! On top of this it will be in the summer heat with mountain climbs.....on the plus side it is in beautiful Nice (anyone up for a trip to France??)

Once again I am dedicating this exhausting race in memory of my dear friend Kenneth Archer who we lost to cancer. This year I am also fortunate enough to dedicate it to my baby boy George Henry Foster.

Your generous donations will be given to St Clare's Hospice - a local charity that gives vital care and support to those fighting the battle with cancer and other life threatening illnesses. Visit www.stclarehospice.org.uk for further info about the charity.

Frances would also like me to mention how tough it will be for her having to deal with my gruesome training schedule and the laborious task of spectating in Nice...it's a tough job but someone's go to do it.
