In memory of our friend - Ele Bannister
For three years Ele battled with ovarian cancer. Tragically, after five different courses of chemotherapy she passed away on 3rd March 2005. She is missed all who had the chance to meet her but especially by her husband and two young children.
So, in her memory and with five friends, including Ele's husband, I will be spending my August bank holiday weekend cycling from London to Paris.
The task is a four-day, 280km trip (3 days cycling) starting from the Marie Curie Cancer Care hospice in Caterham Surrey and finishing at the Sorbonne in Paris, where Marie Curie's amazing career began.
Please dig deep and sponsor me online so that others don't have to go through what Ele and her family went through.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
