My story
In short - Thursday 15th March I am getting my head shaved completely bald to raise money for Norcare!!
In long - I am currently doing voluntary work in Newcastle with a Global Xchange (GX) team made up of 15 young volunteers from UK and Namibia. We are based in organisations around the area who all focus on vulnerable people and homelessness. More details...
Norcare is one of the said organisations and the GX volunteers based there have been encouraged to take on projects according to their skills and interests. This is how a world record attempt for most heads shaved simultaneously was born - aiming to have 75 heads shaved at once.
And so I will be taking part in the event as one of the bold people going bald.
