Many Thanks for looking at my page
As an asthmatic and a GP with an interest in asthma. I shall be running the London marathon next year to raise £1500 for ASTHMA UK. Respiratory disease is often overlooked in charitable giving but it's a fact that its one of the most common chronic conditions and asthma still unfortunately results in deaths.
Champion runners and Marathon runners have asthmatics amongst their numbers so if well controlled it needn't prevent achievement. ASTHMA UK is a good well run organisation who's resources many health professionals and patients turn to. They will use the funds wisely and I am very grateful to them for being given the chance to do this both for the cause and to prove to myself that I can.
Thanks in advance to my wife Annie and my boy Fred for their support and patience over the next few months of training and to my coach Ray Thorpe and my dog Noodles who always seems to be ahead of me? I also thank friends and family for supporting me, the Hay Hotfooters Running Club for accepting me so cordially into their numbers and to accomplished local runners James Wrench, Steven Epstein,Jo Lord, Martin Like and Matt Morris for all the help support and advice I'm going to need and will be asking for!
Thank you in advance for any donation you feel you can give.
