I have chosen to raise money for Barnardos Children’s Charity this summer. Over the past year I have developed a close bond with my local Barnardos.They have provided me with a great deal of inspiration, and this is my way of saying thank you. I’m very excited to be able to help them further their work in our communities.

Barnardos are a charity who amongst other important areas, focus on the adoption and fostering of vulnerable children. As a mother myself, this is a cause that’s extremely close to my heart. I strongly believe that every child brought into the world has a right to grow up in a loving and nurturing parental environment. It’s a basic human need that no child should be deprived of... but sadly it’s all too often a common occurence.

I have along with my friends from within the modelling community, organised a special Models Day Charity Shoot on the 18th of August 2012, in aid of this charity's fantastic work. The event will be held at Bright Lights Photography Studio in Draycott, Derby. Www.BrightLightsStudio.co.uk. The studio have very kindly offered their services free of charge for the day, and my beautiful model friends have done the same. All proceeds raised will go directly to Barnardos.

Now we are just counting on your compassion, generosity and support to make this event and fundraising for Barnardos a huge success! No amount is too little so please take the time to donate whatever you can :)
