Story
Many of you will know that in June 2004 I lost my big brother, Chris, to a brain tumour. He was a young man of only 48 years when he was taken from us. He was the funniest man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, we used to laugh so much together and I miss him more than words can ever describe.
In his final stages of his life he was cared for by the Iain rennie nurses. They are, quite frankly, Angels. They made Chris as comfortable as possible during what was a horrific time. The funds for Iain Rennie Hospice at Home come from fundraisers like us and the generosity of people like you. We would like your help in making their work possible for others in the future.
On 23rd September, Dave Linley (a friend of Iain Rennie) and I are setting off from Morzine in the French Alps to cycle by tandem to Marlow in Buckinghamshire. Our route takes us along the towpaths of the rivers and canals of France and along the Thames to Marlow; a distance of 1200 kilometres!
Chris was a very sporty guy and would thoroughly approve of our choice of fundraising.
'Phil the Chef' and 'Lord Linley' would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
