Yes, I know your shocked I’m running in the Great Birmingham Run this year. To be honest so am I!!  The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital is an amazing place to work and be apart of. I’m within the fantastic Facilities team as an Enhanced Cleaner, a hardworking vibrant bunch of different personalities. The whole team at ROH have had it hard like many NHS trusts and I’m proud to be involved. I worked through the ongoing pandemic in a Nursing Home which had been my place of work for nearly seventeen  years. Everyone has had it hard but we must endeavour to succeed in our fight and battle on, together. This will be my first major running experience (what have I let myself into!) but it’s all for a good cause. The pioneering continued work that goes on day after day here is incredible and I’m doing it for myself, the staff and all patients. I’m no elite runner so Kev might have to come looking for me on his bike. If you can donate, please do and anything you can is highly grateful.  Keep on running...
