Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm swimming the Great North Swim, 1500m in Lake Windermere on September 12th to raise funds for the fantastic Cavendish Centre in Sheffield. They are funded 100% by voluntary donation and they support Cancer patients by offering different therapies not  normally available through the NHS. Six years ago, when I had breast cancer, I was given 6 sessions of shiatsu massage at the Cavendish Centre in what came to me to represent an oasis of calm in a diffciult time. Between us, we could ensure that another couple of people receive the support that I did,
