The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity supports patients, families, staff and volunteers at Arthur Rank House, the adult Hospice in Cambridgeshire. The Charity is totally responsible for funding the Day Hospice and co-funds the Hospice at Home Services as well as providing vital financial support to the in-patient unit.

My story

Update: 14.09.09

I just wanted to say a HUGE thanks to all my lovely sponsors. It took a long and hard 8 hours to finish, and I actually found the descent harder than the way up because of my rubbish knees- but I had a great time and am so happy to have successfully completed the trek and raised such a lot of money for Arthur Rank Hospice.

Hey All!

On the last weekend of August I am trekking up Ben Nevis in bonny Scotland to raise money for Arthur Rank Hospice in Cambridge. The staff at Arthur Rank were incredibly supportive and worked so hard while my dad stayed there that I'd like to show them how much it meant to me and my family by donating some hard earned cash.

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity works in partnership with the NHS to support patients, their families, staff and volunteers at Arthur Rank House. This year the Charity must raise over £1 million to meet their financial commitments at the Hospice, so I'd be really grateful for anything you can give.

I'm doing the climb with my friend Kathy who is collecting for another charity, and we're both really excited to be doing the trek for such good causes. With only a month to raise my very optimistic target of £1000, I'd really appreciate your support!
