As you may know Doug, James (Macca) and Nick (Chopper) have decided to cycle the length of Portugal this summer to raise money for two great charities.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We will be cycling the 600 miles from Vigo in Spain on the 9th September, camping along the way and, and arriving in Cape Vincent in southern Portugal 7 days later.</span></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">‘The Lt Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust’ has been set up in memory of our friend Dougie Dalzell, a lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards, who was killed in action in Afghanistan by an IED on his birthday in February 2010.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He was a great friend to all three of us and with him we shared some amazing times through school and university, he will be incredibly missed by friends and family alike.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The chance to ride and do something for his trust is the least we could do.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The trust seeks to assist persons who are currently serving or have served in the Armed Forces, and their dependents, and thereby improve the quality of life of soldiers who have given so much for their country.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>To read more about the trust and work it does please visit: http://www.dougiedalzellmemorialtrust.co.uk/</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;">‘Give it your Max’ was set up in memory of Max Stotesbury, a lifelong family friend to Nick, who died at the age of 18 in a car crash.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Nick’s family and the Stotesbury’s are extremely close and spent a huge amount of time together both in England and on holiday whilst they were growing up, therefore Nick is delighted to be able to raise some money for a great cause.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The charity does a great amount of work with providing sporting opportunities to deprived areas in London and around the country.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>To read more about the charity and the work it does please visit: http://www.giveityourmax.org/</span></span></p>
