For Christmas 2009 the recreational runners of the Research Councils in Swindon have decided to do something a little festive and - while we are at it - raise some money for a local charity.
We are holding a team relay race around Polaris House & David Phillips building – the outside.
Starting at 12:30 on December 15th, teams of 4 will race around the site, each runner completing one lap before passing on the baton or, to describe it properly - Santa Hat, to the next runner.
So - come and watch and, if you feel so moved, cheer them on!
All - runners and supporters - are invited to make a donation to CALM - Cancer and Leukaemia Movement for local kids with terminal illness.
Thanks in advance for your donations.
We have nine teams competing:
This Makes No Frankin Sense
No Sanity Clause
Christmas Crackers
The Snowchancers
Pimp My Network
NERC Rocks
JeS
Polaris Missiles
