The Target!
To Raise £100,000 Minimum for Woking Hospice & The British Heart Foundation.
How are we going to achieve this?
By asking YOU along with 50,000 other people to donate just £2 EACH..!
Not exactly a huge amount of money I am sure you will agree, but as you know a little from all can amount to a lot!

So What Am I Doing and Why!
Well I will be attempting to summit Mount Everest in early 2011, without the use of supplemental oxygen to raise a minimum of £50,000 each for Woking Hospice and The British Heart Foundation.(All money donated will be divided 50/50 between the two charities)
Woking & Sam Beare Hospices - Is self funded and has to raise £4.9m per annum to keep the hospice doors open which provides care for terminally ill patients and their families. The hospice provides care for people aged 18 and over who have a life limiting illness. The money raised for them will help to maintain care nurses working for one year and aid in recruiting other much needed nurses for the hospice in the local community.
Why Woking Hospice? My Grandmother and cousin were cared for by Woking Hospice who made their last days with us comfortable and provided support for the family before they both left us. They are a great and much needed service in the community.
The British Heart Foundation - Every day they save lives, through pioneering research, providing vital information to help people reduce their own heart health risks, campaigning for change and supporting and caring for heart patients. The money raised will go towards child health education to get children living more active lives and the importance of eating healthy food. Child obesity is on the increase in the UK and has risen tenfold over the last 10 years. The BHF is committed, as we all should be, in getting children active and away from tv and computer games and eating real, healthy and nutritious food not the junk that is being advertised by profit hungry junk food corporations.
Why The British Heart Foundation? The BHF are a great charity and work endlessly in educating people on the importance of looking after thjier heart. I am passionate about getting children active and eating healthy nutritious food. We all know prevention is better than cure... so lets get active and healthy again!
You can visit my website where you can get further information on the charities involved, details about the challenge being done and follow the progress of this challenge through our online blog diary There are also opportunities for companies to sponsor the challenge and get publicity themselves.
Please help us hit the minimum target, by making a kind sponsorship donation today... all we ask is £2
Please don't think small amounts are not good enough, as every little goes towards hitting the target....No amount is too small.
Myself and the charities really do appreciate and thank you for your kind help and generosity with all our heart.
Many thanks
Rhys Morton
