<p>Hi All,</p> <p>Next Friday I am heading to Athens to embark on a 10km run which follows the route of the first ever Marathon and finishes in the Panathanaikon Stadium.&nbsp; The hills in Athens are said to be rather steep so thought running any further than this may finish me off!!</p> <p>I am hoping to raise some money for The Molly Wisdom Hospice in Rochester, they looked after both my grandparents in their final days and I would like to give my thanks to them by running in aid of their charity. Times are tough for Hospices at the moment with cuts in government funding, so any penny you can give would be much appreciated.</p> <p>I will report back on&nbsp;the&nbsp;'race'&nbsp;when I return, assuming of course I do not get caught up in any Athenian protests.
