Hello to all, and thanks so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Just a few details on what I'm hoping to do. First up, a head shave - going down to a grade 1. Having already decided I was ready to try for a shorter haircut, I hope to raise a few pennies going just several steps further. This will probably take place mid-November.
In addition, I am going without my beloved chocolate, sweets, cake & biscuit-shaped friends for a (tear-inducing) two months - having successfully managed a month's abstinence back in 2008. I aim to start on October 25, so my first day back 'off the wagon' as it were, can be a heartily-indulgent Christmas Day!
Not exactly skydiving or bungee jumping, I know. Still, a great opportunity to raise plenty of much-needed funds for a thoroughly much-needed charity. Support After Rape & Sexual Violence Leeds (SARSVL) is a new confidential helpline service for women and girls who have experienced rape or sexual violence at any time in their lives.
