Hey guys...I am raising money for Vital Regeneration a charity that works in London's most deprived neighbourhoods. I believe in the work Vital Regeneration does as its purpose is to deliver effective, long-lasting solutions to the social, environmental and economic problems experienced by people living in disadvantaged communities.
It does this through the provision of creative education, employment advice/brokerage and enterprise targeting those that are hard to reach.
Come December 6th, rain or shine, I'll be in my Santa Suit!!! All the money I raise will go towards helping the charity to continue to deliver its high impact programmes such as:
· HELP: Homelessness, Employment & Learning project (HELP) which benefits hundreds of homeless people living in temporary accommodation across the City. Your funds will go towards helping beneficiaries, assisting them in their aspirations to train, move into work and open up their housing options.
· Homework Clubs: Offers children who live in cramped, over-crowded accommodation in the inner-city a safe, stimulating and friendly environment to learn, do homework, socialise and make friends.
· Silver Café: Provides an opportunity for older people, experiencing isolation, to take part in IT-related activities in a sociable and friendly environment. Young volunteers offer a helping hand to older people, supporting with everything from sending e-mails to using YouTube.
