My story

We all hope we will never need help from an emergency service, but it’s comforting to know it’s there if necessary. The only way the air ambulance service can be provided is with £2m a year private funding. All  the funding (with the sole exception of the Paramedics' salaries) must be raised by the Trust. There is no support from Government or the National Lottery.

To-date, the helicopter has answered at least 9,270 emergency calls within the Thames Valley area, saving lives. To raise the necessary funds to maintain this life-saving service, the Thames Valley & Chiltern Air Ambulance Trust desperately needs your help with donations and bequests.

The helcopter took Elaine directly from the crash site on the A413 to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in minutes.

Every penny helps.
