As you may or may not know im a carer and work closely along side my mum in the community of Tendring Essex with friends and family and we are all very passionate about our job and thats why this charity is very close to my heart.
If your fortunate enough to have not experienced this then share a moment for those who have. Unfortunatly this does happen every day and this my plea and my effort to make it stop....
This dedicated charity ACTION ON ELDER ABUSE specifically helps elderly people who are being or were abused. It IS happening so much so statistics show a staggering 1000935 cases are reported for abuse in the elderly per year thats just reported!!. It easy to feel emotional and distressed when you hear and see young babies and children being abused either physically, mentally or sexually. We feel this cringe in our bellies which makes us angry because we know how defenceless these babies are but so are these elderly people. They depend on us they need us and when they feel they are in the safest most caring hands.......THEY ARE NOT. THEY TOO ARE DEFENSELESS!!!
