I am raising money for Cancer and Bio-detection dogs because I have seen the difference these dogs bring to many families. 

I have been brought up with my mother having type 1 diabetes (insulin dependant) and have personally experienced the day to day challenges and complications that arise from having this cindition (heart attack and disease).  My mum currently has a puppy being trained by cancer and bio-detection dogs, Kiska has already made a huge difference by starting to alert to hypoglyceamic attacks, changing all of our lives.

My aunt had advanced stomach cancer that horrifically ended her life within months of being diagnosed.  If her cancer had been diagnosed much much earlier, she would not have suffered so badly and maybe still be with us today.

Cancer and Bio-detection dogs can change hundreads of lives and help stop the suffering caused by disease, they are continually researching alongsdie Bristol University Hospital and working with many desperate families, providing the last hope they are looking for.

A young man injured in action and now wheelchair bound, sufferes from pain seziures resulting in blackouts and the need for hospitalisation to recieve high doses of pain relief.  Cancer and Bio-detection are working with his dog, who has now started alerting in the hormone changes allowing his owner the time to apply morphine patches before the sezuire starts, preventing the need hospital treatment, giving him the confidence to lead a healthy independant life

A family who have a daughter suffering from Narcolepsy, is housebound because of the embarrassment and lack of confidenced caused by her condition,  Cancer and Bio-detection dogs are confident they help this family and give their daughter the quality of life she deserves.

All monies raised for Cancer and Bio-detection dogs will be used to provide the equipment and resources needed to train these fantactic dogs.  It will also help provide collars, leads and assistance dog jackets. 

Cancer and Bio-detection need all the help and support they can get to help change the lives of hundreads of families.  They currently have a waiting list of people wanting a dog to be part of their family creating the quality of life we all deserve.
