On November 2nd I unleashed my inner pop-queen and 'belted' out TEN unforgettable HOURS worth of sweet and soulful melodies (catawauling) as part of a charioke marathon which aimed to raise lots of money for some very worthy and oft overlooked causes.
I was "performing" for the charity Refugee Action. This is a fantastic charity that helps those fleeing some of the most war torn and deprived areas to have a chance of a normal life. Please have a look at the website to find out about the brilliant work they get up to. www.refugee-action.org.uk
Not being a natural songstress, I endured much embarrassment and just a little humiliation, not to mention a bit of a sore throat by the end. So please help make it all worth while and help me hit my target of £600 for this great cause.
