On 28 September 2009 I ran the New Forest Half Marathon and am raising money for ARC - a charity that provides support and information to couples following a diagnosis of fetal abnormaility during pregnancy. Last year we found out I was carrying a baby with severe abnormalitites at our 12 week scan. A week later we were told he was a little boy, who we called Thomas, and that he had Edwards Syndrome. He died at 14 weeks of pregnancy. ARC provided much needed support to me at that difficult time. On 22 October 2009 it will be a year since Thomas' birth, and this run has enabled me to remember this anninversary positively. Please help ARC to continue with their very special work...
