Story

So I've decided to run a half marathon.  The Royal Parks Half Marathon to be exact.

Its going to be hilarious, I go a frankly stupid shade of red when engaging in even light exercise (as the above post zumba pic demonstrates) so after 13.1 miles my face is going to be like one of those lights they have on top off the Canary Wharf towers to ward off planes...no really it will be.  In fact I would encourage you all to come down and watch, its going to be a spectacle.

Anyway the purpose of this comic, and if the training blisters are anything to go by, fairly painful exercise, is to raise money for the wonderful ICR which, as the opposite info shows, is really dedicated to conducting amazing and ground breaking research in the fight against cancer.  And on a much less noble note the training means I get to enjoy guilt free cake consumption for two whole months(!)

I'm also running with the lovely Claire Kelly-Smith and Stephanie Foll, both fellow ICR employees.  Our team page is available at the below link.

Any small amount of cash you can pledge will be put to great use by the Institute and the donation will be very much appreciated.  JustGiving will send your money directly to the ICR and will make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.

Massive thanks, in advance *smiles*
